Sally is a leading educator and stylist. Her passions for fashion, music, and art naturally led her to a career in hairdressing. After joining Vidal Sassoon at the age of 16, Sally worked her way up through the organization and was eventually named the Creative Director of the Vidal Sassoon Academy in London. Ten years later, Sally was promoted to the role of Senior Creative Director of the Vidal Sassoon Academy in Los Angeles.

During her twenty years with Vidal Sassoon, Sally worked as a stylist, educator, international brand ambassador, and platform artist, where she created industry trends for editorial shoots. Passionate about designing programs and classes that speak to the unique needs of salons, stylists and cosmetology schools, in 2010 Sally struck out on her own and opened SR Education. Founded on the principles of high-quality, modern and relevant hair education through a personalized and hands-on approach, SR Education provided advanced classes and training programs for existing stylists and recent graduates. In 2020 Sally opened the SR Academy in Scottsdale, AZ focused on hairstyling licensure courses.

Throughout her years as an educator and mentor Sally has helped to inspire a legion of highly respected and influential hairdressers who value the role continuing education plays in the mastery of their craft. Sally is commitment to modern, relevant and accessible education and will continue to inspire the next generation of stylists.
